Greetings all!

Names Dave, 21 from Bucks UK.

Recently bought a Mk6 facelift Fez (1.6tdci) so thought I'd register - forum looks neat so far!

Look forward to chatting to y'all!

Anyway, here's a picture (or three) of my newly acquired beauty;

It has a few mods on it already (from previous owner) and I'm looking to do a few more, but owing to having a 'clocked' Sax as my last car I've not been big on mods before!

What d'you guys think?!

    Nice to see you're rocking around in an older Fez! How's it treat you?

    My luck is rotten.. Few weeks ago I was out having a crafty !Removed! with in my car - CD player goes off/comes on, go to turn the ignition and the thing wouldn't start.

    Anyway, enlisted the help of a friend to come and boost the car from his, which I shouldn't have done (Hindsight is a wonderful thing - didn't realise I had an AA membership!) aaaand, long story short I've spiked the ECU.. The car won't start and my new beaut has been sat in the dealership for a couple of weeks!

    Have sent the ECU off for repair (Praying this works!) otherwise I'll have to shell out £1300 for new ECU + Fitting, then an extra £400 for the remap which I will lose! :(

    Other than that... It's a dream ;)

    Gonna be a week or so until I get my ECU back, then if thats not fixed another week afterwards until the fez sits on the drive!

    Time is going SO slowly...!
