foolsgold75
I have owned my '10 Fiesta 1.6 Titanium since new, at 18 months old the water pump developed a leak and was replaed under warranty. Car is now 3 1/2 years old and has done 38k, its been in to dealership today for a winter health check only to be told water pump is leaking again and needs replacing at a cost of £335!! Question...average life span appears to be 20ish months, does this sound right?? Ps. My level of maintenance is filling up the screen wash and checking the tyres!! jeebowhite
Sounds like it has gone far too early! you should be looking at the best part of 5 years or more for a pump, 20 months is far too short!
