Hi all please could anyone help with a airbag fault on my mk3 mondeo it flashes code 16 been told open circuit where should I start to look or is it garage job with diagnostics thanks

    code 16 is to do with the passenger seat pressure sensor.

    often this will flag up if the seat has been moved, get this on all makes of car...for some reason, moving the seat makes a connection problem

    so try looking under the seat for the sensor connector, then just disconnect, then reconnect and see if that clears it...make sure ignition is off whilst doing this
