Foot Wells And Plates Done

Featured Replies

And I went red because my car is red. Don't think blue would look right haha.

Yeah went red as the cars black... Suits better than blue

These cheap LEDs are what you want for the footwells. They're about a quid for two on ebay and are no brighter than the standard bulbs but they have little LEDs that shine in all directions, giving a good spread. My picture shows the standard bulb alongside the LED.

Are those 360 degree bulbs the ones people use for number plates too?

And to those changing footwells, do you also need to do the interior lights red/blue or do they look OK just changing the footwells?

I would change all the interior lights if you can, to complete the 'look'.

I thought I'd have to change all the interior lights but having just done the footwells that seems fine to me. As you step into the car it's the footwell lights you really notice - the interior lights are 'out of sight' somehow.

Ok thanks, I'll see how they look once I've got my car. Was thinking it may look odd, but on the other hand don't want it looking like a brothel

I would just change the footwells, be like extended ambient lighting.

The reading/interior lights I think wouldn't look as good, I am going to just upgrade interiors to 'xenon' white for the same bulbs as the red ones for the footwells
