Actually I remember your previous thread. If you got the connects 2 have you arranged your music as per the instruction manual I posted the link to on your other thread? You need to set up 6 folders named disk 1-6 (as it simulates a CD changer) it also says the number of files in each folder should not exceed 99

Prob best to read the manual I posted the link to in the other thread mate!

You set up 6 folders named

DISC1

DISC2

DISC3

DISC4

DISC5

DISC6

on your USB stick, then dump your mp3s in these folders - Max of 99 mp3s per folder

Prob just uses the CD button if there isn't a changer button option or maybe even the aux button, but by the looks of things until it detects the right folder structure on your USB stick it wont output, manual says to wait 15 secs before trying to select the CD changer

The instructions also state you have to connect everything up in a certain order, seen as though you hadn't read the instructions did you do it in the correct order?

Right guys this is where I am at iv done what you all have said gone by the rules to install etc. Still no joy I plug the usb in and it flashes and thats it for couple seconds . On the instructions it's saying about c changer buttons which I don't have .

I'm stuck I am starting to feel like iv just wasted 60 pound .

Would it matter the fact iv got a aux connection in the glove box ??

Make sure nothing is connected to the aux socket and then remove/reinsert the memory stick.

The module may be interpreting any cable plugged into the aux as an active data source and therefore selecting it as priority over the USB connection.

Does the button on the radio say AUX or CDDJ?

I think maybe the problem is you have the wrong unit.

Are you able to post a link to what you got and also a picture of your actual radio so we can check compatability.

If it's the incorrect one can you return it for a swap?

The audio manual says you press the cd button twice to activate the CD changer, as the unit mimics a CD changer I guess that is how you activate it.

I would try a different USB stick and if still the same and its been fitted as per the instructions contact the seller for a replacement on the premise its a faulty unit. If its the CTAFOUSB005 then its the correct model
