byard
It should be a 2.0 TDCi 90ps. (the insurance company only have 115 & 130 listed) I bought a tuning chip and I cant seem to find the common rail. Im pretty sure it has a VP44 pump on it as well (like my previous 1.8 TDDi 90 Focus) I have attached a picture of the engine bay for some help. I have also run the reg & VIN though ETIS but all I get is: We are sorry, but no information could be found for the VIN/Registrationnumber you entered Any help greatly appreciated as I'm really really confused! Thanks

byard
The reason I say it is a TDCi as it has a TDCi badge on the back & a DURATORQ engine cover on aswell. Like the one below: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f3/Ford_Duratorq_engine,_Ford_Mondeo_Mk3.JPG Confused!

byard
Really? What makes you say that? So will it be 90ps? Im pretty sure it might be beacuase it has the TDDi fuel pump and no common rail sender on it :S Even the logbook has it down as a TDCi I think, wtf

byard
Engine Identification Code Engine code and engine serial number The engine code (4-digit) and the engine serial number (consisting of two letters for the year and month and five numbers, which constitute the serial number) are located on the engine front cover, level with the injection pump. The engine codes are allocated to the engines as follows: l 66 kW (90 PS) = D5BA l 85 kW (115 PS) = D6BA For engines with common rail: l 95kW (130 PS) = FMBA Thanks, I'll try to find the actual engine code so I know for sure
