Hi there,

Not able to lock the car from the button on the key? I've changed the battery although the original one still had life in it.

I can lock the car via the door lock, but when i lock it the indicators flash and all the doors lock, however i notice that the red "i" is flashing on the dashboard? When i unlock the door and get in there a a contant chime and unless i put the key in the ignition and turn it the alarm will go off.

I've tried resetting the key (truning the key to position 1 five times etc), but that won't work, i.e. i don't get the chime when i turn it 5 times?

look forward to hearing from someomne with a bit of knowledge.

    I had a similar problem, fixed it yesterday.

    Try fuse F21 in the central fuse box (under glovebox), it's a 5A and is located halfway up on the left (nearside)
