Diesel Engines

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm new to the club but am on my 5th Ford.

I've just bought a 2009 Mondeo Titanium 1.8TDCi.

This is my first Deisel and would like some advice on service intervals. I do approximately 150 miles a week, doing town and dual carriageway driving.

Thanks for any help.

9 hours?! It would be quicker to pull the engine out and do it on the bench. That's madness! I can picture the bill for 9 hours at a ford dealer using genuine parts..

Yeah I heard some places even charge 11 pig of job engine out would be a lot easier for person doing it lot less stress ha

Hi. Thanks for replies. Belts not changed yet as it's only done 16000 from new. I was more worried about oil and filter and particle filter.
