bigtone
Hi. New member. This has probably been discussed many times before. I have a 57 Focus auto Ghia. Had from new so 7 years old. Problem is wheel corrosion. Recently complained to CEO America and UK. Brentwood say that the higher range of alloy wheels were coated with lacquer and it has let water under it and corroded alloy. I knew nothing about this, they were just alloy wheels to me. So is this a manufacturing fault, if left uncoated they would have been alright and only seem to be on Ghia's, who boobed, do they still coat them. Brentwood say that Allen Ford will redo them at cost price of £75 per wheel. Looks like I will have to accept as they look terrible. Any thoughts? Thanks
Luke23 tdci
Have u tried a wheel specialist to have them re furbed and re done. This will have a great improvement and be cheaper than main dealer. Try company called wheel specialist. See if u have one in your local area
