Hi my dad has got a 2008 1.8 tdci and his fuel pump has gone he was just wondering how much a fuel pump should cost and where is it located he has been told that it might be in the fuel tank and it could have a duel pump so any information would be greatly appreciated

    Okay, well I'm a bit stuck on the Sender Unit/Fuel Pump in the fuel tank. There is the High Pressure pump on the Engine which I did manage to Price up. It would be about £600 + £100 surcharge + £10.00 postage...They would need about 4 days to get one built as well. So let's hope it's not that one!! I will keep looking for the one in the tank and let you know how I get on. Sorry for the delay!

    The fuel pump in the tank is main dealer only, or scrappy/second hand (Ebay??) unfortunately!!

    Hope this has helped. The O.E part number for the sender unit/pump in the tank is 1500998.
