Hunting Idle When Cold

Hey guys. I have a 1997 ford mondeo. It's idles poorly when the engine is cold, between 2000rpm and almost stalling point (some times it does). Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it? She's got 192 xxx Kms on the clock and am planning to have a new timing belt put on. Could this be the MAP sensor? Also I'm in Australia. Thanks :)

When the car is warmed up its totally fine and idles at about 900rpm. Takes about 3 minutes before the erratic idling stops
