What are your reasons for choosing Ford

Featured Replies

Out of all the car manufacturers and the choice of models you could ever own.

Why did you choose Ford ?

answers on a postcard please ....

I wanted a new small car and the fiesta was the best by a long way. Heard Ford are very good with build quality etc so that was enough for me :)

Reliabilty

Judging by some of the faults on the new Fiesta, thats not very true

The "faults" we are having are very small. In terms of engine reliabilty etc the car is perfect. It's just small things like rattles or radio problems, nothing big ;)

My reason for buying ford was simple. The new fiesta is the best looking car out today :) (in main production anyway )

My main reasons are as follows:

- World renound company: First production car (i.e. Brilliant reputation) coupled with recomendations from family and friends.

- Fiesta is a superb looking car, knocks other cars of that class for six

- reasonable insurance groups: quick yet responcible, brilliant engine

- MAINLY due to reviews on the fiesta - Clarksons review bigged it up ALOT, coupled with WhatCar car of the year and supermini of the year!

I love you ford!

Its very simple really.

I had a peugeot before

At time of orderin the fiesta tittyanium was ma best option.

My last two cars were Mercedes 4x4 and BMW 323 ci coupe so you may feel that I went down to a Ford however I dont agree, the amount of money we are saving each month by not running the Merc actually pays our monthly payment on the Fiesta, my teenage girls very rarely come out in the car when we go out, other than when I have to be "taxi" so we didnt need a big car anymore.

I probably will own a BMW again, but for now the Fiesta is my baby and I love driving her.

1st. car was a Ford Fiesta 1,1(1978)

2nd. car was a Ford Escort 1,1(1983)

3rd. car was a Ford Escort 1,6(1986)

4th. car was a Ford Escort 1,1(1984)

5th. car was a Ford Escort 1,3(1989)

6th. car was a Ford Escort 1,6 turbo(1988)

7th. car was a VW Polo(1993) what a piece of crap that was.

8th. car was a Ford Escort 1,6(1996)

9th. car was a Ford Sierra 2,0GT(1993)

Why I chose a Ford Fiesta 1,4Tdci as my 10th. car....... ´Ford is the only thing for me. :P

Never ever have I had a breakdown in a Ford, never had ANY problems with any of them. Just good reliable cars, that´s why.

FORD

I was oringanlly going to get a corsa for my first car but then I saw the TV ad for the Fiesta and loved it. I been dead set on the Fiesta since then!

1) really good looking car:P

2) great dashboard with radio + usb stick (i'm keen on gadgets if you know what I mean:P )

3) impressive driving control

4) new car = no big faults (I hope)

etc...

We have some very Loyal Ford drivers then :D

Fiesta is my first car and I'm quite proud

I don't like Fords specifically, but I loved the Fiesta!

My reasons are similar to Michelle's really. Due to the economic climate I decided to downsize to a smaller more economic car and, like a lot of other people here, I liked the Fiesta from the start.

I did my research and checked out specs etc and in the end got a stunningly good deal from my local garage.

If money hadn't been uppermost in my mind, my first choice would have either have been a Mini Cooper S with all the toys or a Corsa VXR Arctic with all the toys.

I will own another Mini or VXR in the future but for now I'm very happy with my Fiesta. B)

Impulse buy! I was looking for a Mini and saw this gorgeous babe and thought, yes i'll have that!

I've had 2 Ford cars before and they were ok. Reliable and British so I thought I would stick with them.

That's just what Janet said when she first saw me!!!!:lol::lol::lol:

for me it was a great looking car PLUS my Dad's Ford Pensioner discount!!

Oooo the ford pensioner account! very attractive ;)

the not insignificant saving is certainly attractive!

My old man had a Sierra, Mondeo and 2 Focus's up to now, Mum has had 3 KA's including her current KA sport so always had them in the family and always liked Ford, loads of dealerships, easy to source parts etc and not too expensive to service and had a MK5 and MK6 before, has MK6 Ghia and was looking to change car and I say the MK7 image in a paper way before launch and knew I had to have it!!

I LOVE the MK7

I LOVE the MK7

I've never had a Mk 5 or 6 but I had an XR2 Mk2 and 1100 Ghia Mk 2 and they were both great fun and dead reliable too.

I have to agree though that the MK 7 is far and away the best Fiesta ever. ;)

Cheap on parts... fairly easy to fix

Because it's the best car in it's class.

Reliability, cheap parts, easy to fix, nice cars and of course not forgetting my husband’s friend is a Ford Technician.
