Hi does anyone know a place I can trust too get my ac checked, the guy in halfords said it's my compressor, but when you switch the ac on the revs go high so how can it be the compresser.

I need someone who can check my ac in london, that's what I thought, then he said to me he thinks it's got gas in there already, I topped it up two years ago I worked then stopped the next day or two days later

U need connect to ac machine remove gas if u don't recover much gas most likely there's a leak then if this case u fill system with dye an nitrogen an find leak then u have electrical end if that side all good

Why not look on internet lots places do specials on ac services did u ring ford ask them how much it be for service

kwik fit used to do a recharge for around 20-30 quid and if they didnt get it cooler then it was you didnt pay.

might be worth giving them a go.

do you have climate or just normal aircon?

if climate and it flashes for around 15 seconds this indicates there is a problem within the aircon in general,possibly low refrigerant?

if you apparently topped it up yourself and a few days later it disapered then there possible is a leak within your system somewhere.
