Window Sticker Removal!

Featured Replies

I've got a dealer sticker right across my back window it is stuck on and when I try to peel it, it doesn't seem to want to just pull of,

How do I get it off without damaging the window heated lines?

you could:

A. Take the car back to the dealer and demand he take his 5hit off your motor,

Or

B. Watch this video on removing tint film, because the process is the same for decals, there all applied in the same way,

Check..It..Out Yo!

I used a craft knife blade and a steady hand.

Hairdryer, heat the adhesive and pull.

That's what I'd do anyway lol.

Thanks for everyone's tips!

Managed to get it off with a craft knife, now just got to clean the sticky bits off!

I use lighter fuel. Don't set alight to it though. Used it loads of times to get the remaining sticky residue off. Works a treat.

I've also used white spirits.

Especially removing the sticky residue from tints. Works a treat.
