Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone has done a tddi engine into a petrol body.

I have 2 estates, 1 tddi diesel with a very poor body and a 2.0 zetec with a duff engine. Has anyone swapped the diesel into a zetec body and what would the issues be. I assume i would need to swap tanks and fuel lines etc, ecu?. How do i wire in the fuel cut off and the glow plugs and would any of the loom be interchangeable.

Any help you could give would be appreciated

    u forgotten to mention upgrade front suspension as derv lump is heavier..... all loom, all aux's, ecu... it would be like starting a rolling shell, and a up build.... cluster etc.... locks n barrel's due to pats security system

    New ecu, cluster, fuel lines/tank/pump, pretty much all wiring too.

    Loads of time and money.

    Agree entirely with the guys above, you would be best of selling both and buying a good motor, or at least buy a runaround in the meantime as you will have to rip everything out and swap it all over, It will probably take you a few weeks to get it done and thats if your working non stop on it by yourself I would expect.
