57 Reg Mondeo 1.8 Zetec Parking Sensors .

Featured Replies

Hello .

Being new to mondeo ownership I would like to see if anyone is having or has experienced the same issues with X Vision XVB4A parking sensors.

The problem I am having is that once the car is placed in reverse I get two tones through the speaker - one slightly longer than the other , then once I start to reverse the car there is nothing regardless how close I get to anything.

When looking at the rear of the car the furthest left and right sensor seem to of corroded and the plastic coating has come away.

I assume this is my problem. I thought it would be a case of easily searching the web for replacing the sensors then away we go , however I cant seem to find anyone who sells just replacement sensors. The X vision website seems to be useless .

Is my only option to visit ford and see what ridiculous price they are charging for these sensors?.

Appreciate any help / advise.

Hi ,

Go to "Parking Made Easy" there brilliant!, Ford original sensors and All official matching colours plus other makes , would recommend them everytime.
