I have a. mrk 1 focus I have to replace the rack I am having trouble getting it off as the pipes are seized and so are the nuts how do I get it off without damaging the pipes. please can someone give me some advice please email me

    I would say the good start would be to attack it with WD40 in order to try and release it.

    Alternatively, it will be tricky.

    As said, WD40 or Plusgas. They are a proper pain in the whatsit to crack off out of the rack & be careful not to crush the pipes as you're prising & getting mad with them!

    Are you using flare nut spanners? If not I would get yourself some before you round off the nuts
