Would love a test drive in one. Outside my price range at the moment sadly.

But I can imagine how much fun they must be. For crying out loud my 1.4 is enormous fun along the b-roads. I have a favourite run from work which involves long fast twisting stuff and it just amazes me how capable this car is. The way it handles and sticks to the road and yet you don't have to rev the nuts off it or anything.

So the ST must be a blast. You lucky lot ! :)

I think this car is one of few things that get a lot of hype which is well deserved. And I haven't even seen it's full potential yet, only done about 500 miles so still trying to take it easy.

i am from Germany and yesterday i was at the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife with my Fiesta ST. It performs really well and i am really proud to own it :D

I got a 10min 15s time.

I hope it is the right size and no one deletes it.

So.........About the ST..

When is someone going to get, Lower Profile cams, Longer rods, forged pistons, HUUUUGE Turbo and big injectors followed by a bespoke remap and enjoying around a true 300BHP+??

Haven't seen this yet, reckon it can be had an FRS Beating ST for around an extra 5K.

I'm after something a bit quicker now.

Don't get me wrong, the ZS is a lovely car but !Removed! slow. Sounds nice, looks beautiful (prettiest small car IMHO) and handles well but straight line performance isn't exactly buzzing.

I'm seriously considering three cars at the moment and want to test drive all.

I tested the Clio 200T, great car but a damn shame it's only paddleshift and it isn't the quickest of shifts.

The Meg is pretty awesome tbh, a big car but great fun, but beware it's a megane and by no means reliable, servicing costs and belt changes on Renault sports are ridiculous, the clio 182 is around £800 for a specialist.

remember the Polo R is coming soon too, 4WD terror, will be around 20K plus I'd expect.

You can't really go wrong with the ST though, for the money anyway, which is where it wins, it's not frighteningly quick, both RS models will beat it but they do cost around 4K more when specc'd up (new)

Hi sheriff, i have driven in the past the megane cup,eccellent grip and still scary quick,but reliability issues!! Still good choices.

Black 55 3.0ghiax,ss straight thru,57i,black hekos&indi's red

calipers,cf mirrors,st lip,leather/alcantara,50kmiles.

Oh and the Renaults are crap on fuel 30MPG no matter how good you try to be with it. Meg is lower around 25.

Although a VX, but........... new Astra VXR??? even Jezza liked it.

I think the Polo R will be a winner, 0-60 is 5.8 seconds in a small hatch like that, similar to the S1 I think is simply stunning. Worth 22k? No, if it was me I'd wait to get a second hand one with a couple thousand miles for about 6k less!

That reg looks like RX63 EXX so one to avoid when it comes onto market!

I have an ST2 currently, but waiting for my local dealer to get back to me regarding swapping to an ST3, just for the extra gadgets :)

It's the most fun i've ever had in a car. Low insurance, BIG fun. I've done 7k miles in mine since October last year, and i've loved every single one of them.

I really need to get it on a track!

Good idea if it won't cost too much. I love the gadgets on mine - cruise control, keyless entry, parking sensors etc, all very useful.

Cruise control on an ST, you should be red lining not cruising lol.

Must agree though, I find all those gadgets very useful too.

My 2014 ST2 in frozen white has brought nothing but sweet sweet pleasure! Nothing can fault it. The ride comfort is stiff but that's typical of a performance car:) but everywhere I go people always stare! I love it! Anyone in a standard Fiesta (not st) love to gaze upon it as I pass ;) or someone without a Fiesta who wishes they had one lol

I am the only white ST2 in my area the only other ST is spirit blue. My dad joined the Ford family when he seen my 1st fiesta 1.0l ecoboost so he bought a 1.6L fiesta auto 5Dr as he was the lazy man with cars but I was strangely disappointed as he changed from a Lexus RX350 down to a fiesta lol :P

I am the only white ST2 in my area the only other ST is spirit blue.

I've seen at least 3 others recently driving around the Leeds area, a black one, maybe 2 reds (one might have been molten orange, or maybe the same car), and another blue one which might come from just down my road :). Had some fun driving into work this morning with one of them following me lol.

It would be cool if some of them are on this forum.
