I don't tend to DO photos of me, as I always try and avoid the camera as I'm not confident about my looks but these two pics are alright of me

Nor am I. I had to take one once as I needed a picture of myself at short notice, and even though I was on my own I felt absolutely ridiculous aiming the camera at myself and taking a picture. Just felt wrong.

I can't bare selfies, only taken about 3 in my lifetime and they have been with other people!

On my recent occasions, licence renewal and government contractor ID, my photo was taken by the post office clerk/processing officer, digitally as part of the application process on an integrated scanner - I didn't have submit actual photos myself

I have to go renew the photocard license in the new year, that will be another photo, still comparative to the old license I am now bald

Those integrated digital scanners have problems if you're bald and have a beard too. It apparently throws up an error, and reports that your head is on upside down; despite the operator, doing a manual override.

They have to resort to old-fashioned passport photos

I believe the biometric airport scanners used to report the same thing, in the early days.

I wouldn't use one of those things if you paid me.

When I needed a photo for my provisional I went to the booth in the PO and then posted one with the form.

Must be some more folk to post a mugshot, come on folks even i have done it and not broken the forum
