Mk2 Mondeo

Featured Replies

Hi there. Wonder if anyone can help. I have a 1999 mondeo mk2 my heater only blows on screen no matter what direction I put it. I have vacum to the switches and all other pipes seam clean now after removing some blue green gunk. Don't know what else to check. Pollen filter is ok. I brought a second hand switch but no different. Could that be faulty as well. Please if any one can help I would much appreciate it. Many thanks.

if you remove the dashboard fascia and then turn the switches, do you see the mechanics behind it working correctly? it could be a stuck valve?

When I pull the controls out it's a series of vacuum pipes at the rear of switches. Pulled every one off one at a time they are all clear. With vacum.

Very odd, sounsd like something is locked in the back of it then, possibly a stuck valve behind the pipes?
