hi, can anyone help?? I have just brought 3 weeks ago a mondeo 2.0 tdci ghia 06 plate, there seems to be a problem when I unlock the car, either with the fob, or the key, all seems to be fine until I try to open the drivers door, there seems to be a time delay before the door actually opens, all the other doors and hatch open immediately, has anyone else experienced this problem, and is there a simple remedy? if anyone can help, or knows how to solve this problem I would be very gratefull.

    Sounds like it could be a stiff solanoid? remove the door card and see if you can lubricate these area's around the catch.
