I have a mondeo mk4 the boot Dosent go up by itself you lift it a few inchs and it holds itself that position I have pointed this out to ford before but they say its normal I don't think is is some how has anyone else had this problem and does any one know where I can aquire the gas springs from for this model

    Ford part (Finis) number 1683267 and about £48.

    It should be a set of two but best to check it's a set and also double check the Finis code as there are some variations on Microcat.
