Hi folks!

My MKIII will lock all doors in the key (I only have the blue tagged non-remote), and you can hear all the locks locking under power.

Unlocking only unlocks the drivers door (no sound from other doors). They can all be opened manually from inside.

Any ideas on a fix anybody?

Its not the end of the world, but it is a ball-ache!

Also, should a 2002 1.8lx have remote central locking? If so, how would I go about acquiring keys, pref without having to go through Ford and paying dealer prices.

With a remote key, pressing the unlock button on the remote once just opens the drivers door, pressing it a second time opens the rest of them. Im guessing it is the same with just using the key but unfortunately there isn'tthe second unlock option.

I think the only option is to get a key with a remote.

Just remembered, once your in the car can and close the drivers door, if you manually lock the door by the handle and then unlock it I think it unlocks all the other doors

Its only happened from this afternoon. Before that every door unlocked with the key turn, but since this afternoon (after i filled up) its been as above.

sounds like for some reason the car has switched the anti hijacking option on, you need a remote key to disable it, or I believe you can do it with the ELM Config application and a modified ELM327 cable.
