Central Locking Only Opening One Door

Featured Replies

Hi all

All of a sudden my car has developed a little fault of when I push the button on my key to unlock the car, it only unlocks the drivers door, which is never did before!

Any one got any ideas???

Many thanks

Alan

If you double press the unlock button do the remaining doors open

Yes it does, possibly 3 or 4 times sometimes and it eventually opens

Well sounds like you could have enabled selective door opening by mistake. Although to enable/disable this you would have to press and hold the lock and unlock buttons together until indicators flash several times.

Thats exactly what I could have done as I sat on my keys at work the other day and someone said to me sat next to my vehicle why is it locking and unlocking! How do I go about re-enabling this?

Simply press and hold both the lock/unlock buttons on the fob until indicators begin to flash. Then release.

From memory the indicators will flash 3 times
