Hiya,

I know it's a long shot but does anyone have a van in Berkshire they're willing to let me borrow over the weekend (will pay.. just can't afford £50 an hour)?

I'm moving house and apparently nobody I know owns a van :|

    You could hire a van for less than £50 for the day.

    Go to berkshire van hire. I've used them a few times. Think a whole weekend is £130 for a Luton van so if your after a transit it would prob be around £100. They are good down there.

    I have £40, my car is broken and I'm only 18... :/

    I was going to borrow the work van but again, have to be 25 and they won't let me get someone else to drive it :/

    Yeah you need to be at least 25, but my OH can get temp cover on a van for like £10 for the day if I could hire one off someone I knew if that makes sense?

    I'm in reading, lol everything is just so rushed, I was honestly counting on using the work van!

    Woodley- will be moving to Charvil.

    That would be brilliant lol, any time this weekend- literally need to go pick up a sofa set and a bed from Surrey and bring it back lol will take 2 hours or so

    Ask B&Q, often they have van rental by the hour (my local one is something daftly cheap like £14 an hour) which isnt bad if you only need it for a couple of hours.

    Otherwise, just look for man and van adverts, you might find they can offer there services at a relatively cheap price :)
