Going To Fit/upgrade Parts To My 1.6Tdci

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, how are you all doing?

I was reading through the forum and have been coming across several topics about blanking off the EGR valve to allow the engine to become a one way system. I know I will need the plate and a new filter to go along with the upgrade.

What else do I need in order to do this upgrade and should I upgrade anything else as I will be under the bonnet anyway so am I as well to upgrade more at the same time?

Also, what parts do you recommend?

Thanks in advance and apologies if this is a common question and if I am being repetitive.

Cheers, Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Get yourself a stainless steel blanking plate. Fitment I'd relatively simple easier if you follow lennys guide.

For a new air filter as that will give a boost otherwise there's nothing else you can really do by and by without going into deeper territory
