Bought my first car a fiesta flame 2004 from an online car website,found oil leak on drive took it back to garage to be told it was leak from gearbox they didnt know when they would be able to repair it as they said it was a difficult job,as you can gather i dont know much about cars and am having no luck getting mine repaired can anyone give me an idea on wether they are being truthful,cheers!!

    Hi Thomas, take it back and tell them outright that you are rejecting the vehicle under the sale of goods act unless they sort the leak and within a reasonable time.

    Doesnt matter how hard the job is, they have a dutry under the sale of goods act to resolve this issue or give you a full refund for the car.
