Installing Alarm With Remote Start - Mk4 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi, everyone.

I'm currently installing an Alarm with Remote Start into my Mk4 Fiesta. I've managed to connect all of the wires bar two. I've checked the Haynes manual, and although I can find the wires in there, it doesn't tell you their location.

The wires I can't find are for the handbrake switch, and for the battery charging/oil pressure switch. Would anyone know where I might find these wires closest to the dash?

Many thanks in advance.

UPDATE: I've found the handbrake cable - it runs under the driver's seat and connects to a harness that runs along the inner sill. :D

Still struggling with some way of telling the Remote Start system whether or not the car is started.
