I've got 2009 focus zetec 1.8 and my rear interior light stays on it will stay on even when I lock my car, all my doors are shut tight and I'm getting no warning on my dash to say any doors are open my front lights turn off no problem any suggestions

    Not being funny but have you checked that the switch for the interior light is not set to on. It has 3 settings: Off, On when doors open/car unlocked and On all the time. It's easy to miss and for example whenever the little ones are in the back seat they manage to fiddle with it and switch it to ON all the time.

    Agree with Ben on this one, I had a similar situation on my mondy recently. Even though the switch was set to go off with the doors.

    I had a play and after switching the switch multiple times, it finally allowed the lights to go off with the doors. As far as I can see, in my circumstance, it seemed that although the outer switch moved, it seems like the inner switch didnt quite go the same way.

    Yep set to doors open/close in the middle took light out thought perhaps the something sticking with the switch but no clean as a whistle

    just keep giving it a few clicks over between the settings, then close and lock then open and play again, this is what I did and eventually resolved it!

    Nope tried it for about 15min and still stuck on even got some electrical cleaner on the back and still stuck on, I swapped the front and back round def the light it self gone funny any one know where I can get one and how much
