Timing Belts And Chains

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I am looking to build a knowledge of timing Belts or chains for all the models of Ford's out there, so if you can please provide the accurate knowledge of cars and timing belts and/pr chains as appropriate so I can add it all up!

Ta :)

Mondeo MK4: 2007 up to October should be timing belt and fuel pump driven by chain, above then should be two belts (timing and fuel pump).

As for the rest, please fill the gaps where you can :)

I believe the Mk2 Focus 1.8 & 2 litre petrols have chains (1.4 and 1.6 being belt, if you hadn't already guessed that bit)

If I can find my Haynes manual, I'll add some more info

Cheers matey, I need to dig out my old manual as well.

I basically want to put this into the Forums FAQ so it might help newcomers get information such as this.
