I have just purchased a 2007 Fiesta Ghia 1.6l and I am finding that the users handbook is not very good at explaining things. For example how do I set the trip meter in the console, it tells me the radio staion, it tells me how many miles I have got left in the tank and I have seen the word 'Trip' there when I first bought the car but I can't get it back. To me it is useful for costing trips etc., so can I set it and if so how? Also the handbook mentions parking sensors but I don't know if this model has them fitted, can anyone tell me please!

if you have ther trip computer you should be able to use the directional key or stalk to navigate the menu's and go through them. You should probably have at the very least the average MPG, trip ODO and range?

That's just it, I don't know if it has a trip computer or not. If I click the menu button and left right arrows on either side of it it changers the reading from radio stations to range and back but it was definitely showing trip with a reading when I bought the car and I can't get it to set to trip again. By stalk do you mean the mode and volume controls on the left hand side of the column? BTW I also saw an avergae mpg reading when I first picked the car up so I suspect evrything is there I just don't know how to access it.

thats the radio stalk. I believe on the 07 fiesta's, you would have on the indicator stalk a small up down toggle switch that would navigate the menu's

I cant recall the inside of the 07, but you will have either a stalk with the trip options on, or a range of buttons on the steering wheel itself.

Yes, that was it, it lets me toggle through all of the options, thanks for your help.
