Help! Will This Bike Rack Fit?

I've been looking for ages trying to find a rear mounted bike rack for my S Max.

Evans Cycles are saying this will fit:

It looks like it may do as it has a hook that goes under the rim of the tailgate rather than sitting on the bumper (which I think is a problem as the S Max doesn't have one deep enough for it).

Can anyone help me on this?

Don't want to waste my money and/or damage the car.

    I can vouch for the Halfords high-mount bike rack as being fine for the S-max - and I know of others who have used the same on their s-max's also:
