I sold my focus st replica now have this I posted it on here as it say general chat not ford related.I still come on this forum to see how others car project is getting on etc

It's had standard courtesy lights but just replaced it with plug and play projector lights. I posted pic of the car on my other tread (recent mods) pic was from dealers website I brought it from.

It's 204 Bhp standard with think 304 torque 7sec to hit 60mph as it a c250 manual only £145 year to tax went to Cardiff on Saturday after1 hour drive on m4 it said I was doing 62mpg

not a bad little motor, even if it is lacking the blue.

I say you shoud get another projector light in there, and put the ford logo on! so that way, you forever remember your Ford days, and when the cost of motoring did not need you to sell a kidney in order to pay for the mechanic to lick your golden battery to test if its broken or not :p

On a serious note though, how are you finding the costs of motoring with this toy?

Cheap as chips tax is £145 for year insurance same.also much better on fuel as its diesel it has 15 months warranty so I'm sorted I also have a independence mercedes garage where I can get jobs done half the price.if.needed was recommended by guy at work and everyone on Mercedes forum too.

I went t cardiff couple of weeks ago which is 4 hours drive from my house and I got 66mpg on m4 doing 70mph trust me it really good on fuel.

trust me I was thinking my trip computer was faulty but reset it and after a hour on m4 it still read between 65-67mpg.

Forgot to mention my car is a blue efficiency model so that's why it is really good on fuel.

I live in a small town and in winter really need a 4x4 or car with four wheel drive. Maybe I shouldn't have said round around basically need a car for winter as the merc will be in garage over winter.

yeah thats fair game! although if your going to go 4x4 do the full experience, get a landy, then you get tough and good at its job, rather than looks tough but doesnt really handle as well as the real deal :p

I decided if I get a 4x4 might get a freelancer td4 which has the bmw engine or might just get a golf or focus mk1 for a grand or so just to get me to work etc so I can leave my car in the garage I'm just looking around if find something cheap enough then I'm get it.

Was that supposed to be freelander with the bmw engine?
