I drive a mk2 ford focus estate and whenever I see another mk2 focus and especially if it's an estate, I get the urge to flash the lights or wave at them as if to say "hey, I have a focus too..." or "Look we both have the same!"

I've never done it, but I fear that one day when I'm a little tired or something, I'm gonna wave like an idiot at someone who is going to be left wondering what the hell is going on..

Anyone else had this with their Mondeo, Focus, Fiesta, etc etc? Or am I the only weirdo...?

Totally agree with you, I don't know why I feel like doing it, I think it's just focus estates more so

im the same as you mate,

When im in the focus and see other focus drivers or modified focus i wave,

But if i was an BMW driver id have to stick up my fingers instead at all other !Removed!'s on the road that drive bmw's aswell

I wave at the other fiesta st's :)

But this is maybe cause there only 3in our area and one mine one is my mates and the other one is local police man who I know haha

Although I waved at what I though was my mate in white one other day to then realise it was a random in a zetec s. He just stared gormlessly at me! Bet he though what a sad !Removed! just waving at fiesta's lol

I have thought about it, but then when I realise how much of a pleb I would look I thoughts against it :D

I think maybe because I have a focus estate that there are less of them, compared to say focus hatchbacks.. so when I see an estate, I'm thinking: "Wow, you chose an estate too!" (but yeh, I don't act on that thought, or say it!)....

...Not looking forward to the day I see a Mk2 tango red focus estate with thule aero roofbars...I think my head will just explode..
