New Remote Key For Fiesta Problem...

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have had an extra key cut (by Timpsons) and i have a problem.

There is nothing wrong with the original one but i wanted a spare to give to my daughter.

After i have programmed the new one to the car it works fine, ignition and locking. BUT the original stops working the Central locking ?

I then reset the original key and then the New one stopped working the central locking ?

Can i not have 2 Remote control keys ?

or is there a fix.

Thx Danny.

You need to reprogramme both to the locking system within the same phase.

4 turns in the ignition from 0 to II to then back to 0 within 6 seconds then press the unlock button on key 1 then key 2.
