Radio Resets Whilst Driving

Featured Replies

I have a 2007 fiesta ST and wilts driving my radio sometimes resets to default. Whether listening to iPod through the aux or listening to the radio it just resets all my preferences regarding base etc and goes back to preset radio station 1... Any ideas why this may happen. It sounds as if the CD player is trying to find a cd when this happens..

Poor power connection to the radio?

bad earth connection is one point, or as troy said the power might be going as well, this could also be the power connector.

I had this issue in my CMAX though, it was an indicator that I had a bad battery in, car started, ran behaved itself, the radio started resetting itself, and shortly after alsorts of warning lights were flashing up whilst driving.

I replaced the battery and it stopped altogether.
