Diagnostic Socket Version

Featured Replies

Hi

Can anyone tell me what version of diagnostic socket (obd1 or 11) is fitted on my 2003 focus 1.6 petrol.

I have looked at a few posts and I'm non the wiser.

Thanks in advance Kevin

Petrol was standard for OBDII from about 2001 I believe, whereas diesel was 2004, so you should find that you are OBDII compliant.

Thanks very much.

I have been given a elm327 so when I get it I should be in business.

A further question would be what software works best on fords (free hopefully)

Thanks again

Kevin

Depends on what type of adapter you have. Click on my signature on 'got an error On your car' and that will guide you :-)
