Hi,im a new member,hope im doing this right.

Having problems with my 55 reg ford focus,as im driving all the lights on the dash come on and speedo/revcounter point to zero,then with a bash to the top off the dash they all go off and dials go back to normal,except car goes into limp mode, which when i turn off ignition it clears till next time it occurs.Any ideas or advice will be greatfully recieved.

    I'd get the instrument cluster checked out.

    Damaged or badly soldered connections are the likely cause.

    You can send the cluster away to be re-soldered/tested if need be but I'd get someone to have a look for you first.
