Ford Fiesta 2000 Immobilizer Problems

Featured Replies

Ok this isn't my car its a friend and has asked me to help him so i decided i would come here for help.

Its a 2000 Fiesta and it wont start. The battery was flat for about a month. He got a new battery now it wont start the ignition comes on fine but when you try to start nothing happens just complete silence. I've already told him about the light and he said the light had no life in it at all.

The car has started by putting the wires straight onto the starter.

Anyone at all he needs this fixed asap

If the immobiliser light is off when the ignition is on try replacing the start inhibit relay K94.

There was a change to the relay box in 2000 so have attached both diagrams.
