    Not sure just how right I am on this, but the nearest thing I could find is this:

    This is how I think it translates!

    1) Type Approval Number: 0020202V

    2) VIN Number: WF0 - Ford Werke A.G., Germany (European vehicles) - Cabriolet - XX - Ford Of Germany - Rheine assembly plant - Escort model (apparently :P) - manufactured 1990 (apparently) - Manufactured month July - Sequence number - 11337 -

    3) Gross vehicle Mass - 1400

    4) Gross Train Mass - 2300

    5) Permitted front axle loading - 725 kg

    6) Permitted rear axle loading - 725 kg

    7) Steering - LR (Left Rack?)

    8) Engine - Illegible

    9) Transmission - Manual 5 speed?

    If you are having trouble using the online decoders, maybe a call to your local ford dealer may help you get the information you need? :) They will most likely have a more comprehensive database.

    I used the online sites and reference ones to get this far just thought some one on here would of known what KV trim is? Thanks for help I shall pop into days and see what they say

    No worries, hope you manage to figure it out. For the record i think paint code PA1 is Radiant Red from what i could find out, but again Ford would probably be your best chance of finding out. Good luck :)

    When I did a hpi check it said the car was black/red, 14 owners between 84 and 98 bonkers!
