Hey guys I noticed we have bad engine compression on my 300k plus ford galaxy.

The engine is a ahu. So I thought the vw passat ahu would be a good low mileage swap. (70k)

    First note.

    The driver side mount on passat is incorrect mounting holes. ( u need to use your galaxy timming chain cover and backing plate.

    Also bolt holes are smaller. So you need to use smaller bolts or rethread the holes to bigger size. (This was on a 1999 lump) so newer models may have new castings and use the correct holes

    Egr valves faces the incorrect way. Also Easyer too exchange from your old engine.

    Currently doing it so alittle of both lol. Any info or problems I run into is here to help other who one day searching for such questions :) a lot people think matching engine codes mean there easy swaps. But can be differences sadly

    Ahu will fit in a galaxy. U need too use passat power steering and custom steering bracket.

    Ahu pump rewiring is also required.

    Been up and running for awhile now and no faults :) use afn (110bhp turbo and injectors on 90 bhp ahu and makes no difference
