Cigar lighter / 12V

Featured Replies

Hi. I know there are a few other topics on this but wasn't sure whether I could piggyback on to someone else's question. I have a 55reg Style (old style I think?). I bought an electric tyre inflator the other day, plugged it into the 12V/10A supply (cigar lighter) but no joy. I know it worked recently when I used my FM transmitter with it. I found the fuse box (behind the glove compartment) but found no fuse for the cigar lighter. This surely means that there is a separate fuse for the 12V supply. Does anyone know where it is in the fuse box. Or is there a separate inline fuse as a mate suggested?

Cheers all

Carlos

check the fuse box again on some models there are two fuse locations depending on if the socket is permanant live or ignition live.
