qyuubi786
I was reversing and I hit a curb that was sticking out and now my rear wheel has bent in, diagonally-upwards and inwards. From what it looks like the bit where the wheel goes onto is bent (sorry I'm not to knowledgeable on all parts of car names). The rest of the axle etc looks ok. What exactly has gone wrong and how much will this be to fix?

AdeMk1
Could have broken the spring or shock absorber.
qyuubi786
Could have broken the spring or shock absorber. How would i know if the shock absorbers or spring is broken?
AdeMk1
You might be able to spot a broken coil on the spring, usually at the top or bottom of the spring, or just count the number of coils on each of the rear springs. The one with the lowest number of coils will be the broken one. With the shock absorber, grab the whole suspension unit and give it a good pull and push, if the shocker is broken you should see/feel it moving about (it should be pretty solid if not broken). See this guide for replacing springs http://www.fiestaguides.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4000&sid=3e27f78e7fe298d1160b54ea892b5cee

I don't think it's worth fixing for such an old car. :(
AdeMk1
The stub axle? That bent pretty easily for just reversing up a kerb. Have you had it checked over by a mechanic? I'm can't remember if the stub axles are replaceable on the Fiesta but if so are quite easy to do.

AdeMk1
Thats the rear axle. Takes a mighty whack to bend that, or it was severely weakened in the first place due to corrosion. How fast were you reversing?

How fast were you reversing? I was going quiet fast. ( ._.) It's going to be expensive. :(
