Bodywork Damage On Focus

Featured Replies

After a disagreement with a fence in a car park just wanting your advice on whether to go through insurance or go to a body shop myself? The door is bent around the edges and obviously scratched. The bumper is fine, just the screw that connects it to the wheel arch has come apart. The arch is out of shape. The car is a 57 reg so I'm not too fussed about it being returned perfect. The main parts i'm concerned about are the door (could a panel beater sort this?), The arch (could this be put back into shape?) and reconnecting it to the bumper? Thanks

Best bet would probably get a second hand door in same colour, then get a body shop to pull the arch and rear quarter out with a slide hammer and paint it.
