Seat Belt Chiming Sound When Turning Ignition

Hi

Was hoping someone would be able to offer some advice.

My knowledge of cars etc is basic but slowly learning more, however the last couple of weeks everytime i turn my ignition i get the chiming sound that you would get if you aren't wearing your seatbelt.

I have a T reg ford focus 1.8L zetec. I've had the car for nearly 2 years and it has never done this before but it now happens everytime I start the engine?

Before I take it to a garage, just wondered if there is anything obvious that this could be or something I could check myself?

Any help is appreciated.
