Satnav On Fiesta

Featured Replies

I've just bought a new 2014 Fiesta with satnav and am really disappointed that this does not have live traffic updates. I think the description in the brochure is very misleading as it implies that traffic conditions are monitored and responded to and that isn't true. I assume its not possible to do anything about getting a live version? Any advice please?

I took delivery of my TX in early September. The Satnav reports traffic delays on any selected route. I had no documentation on usage of the satnav beyond that included in the owner handbook. I was given no info regarding the updating of maps etc.

I wonder if there might be some menu option for switching on traffic info that hasn't`t been activated.

I am used to using a tomtom which displays holdups along a route and then offers alternative routes if they are quicker. It doesn't appear as if the Ford satnav does anything other than telling you there is a potential hold up along the route but offers no alternative. Is this the same thing as yours?

Fraud so. I have not been offered alternative route which is the norm on my previous TomTom.
