Dust Caps...

Featured Replies

Evening all,

Probably a controversial subject, but I was wondering what kind of dust caps people have on here if they've changed from the standard plastic ones.

I know they're not to everyones taste but I like the chrome ones with the car make logo on top, have had a few sets for different cars now but tempted to go with something else maybe, especially as I'm getting a set of new tyres soon and already have new OEM centre caps to fit. I'm after something blue/black/silver and fairly subtle, oh and cheap so it doesn't matter if they get knicked lol! So just wondered what you guys have? Pics if possible... :P

Oh, also, I'll probably paint the calipers at the same time...probably be boring and go with silver unless there's any better ideas? I used to be known on other forums for having Hammerite Smooth blue brakes across about 5 different cars lol, think I've passed that phase now haha.

Cheers

Tom

I'm just using these, bit different than standard black plastic caps but not too flashy to attract any little magpies.

Plus I can get them mega cheap if any do go missing.

Probably prefer the style of these but my cheap supply dried up.

They look alright, basically what I use except with a logo on top tbh!

Plastic jobs are good enough for me, not wanting tea leafs to steal fancy ones...

As for the calipers, paint them! I intend to, but I was going to wait until my rear drums need replacing before I bother so I can do the lot in one go.

ive got the antitheft ones wt you need a key to undo

I've already done the drums black...want to hide them as much as possible lol! Not keen on the idea of black calipers though. But think I've probably done blue enough lol...

I've also done Gold before, not sure how that'd look against the Panther black though...
