jace1969
Bosch and Valeo seem to be good. Just don't want to spend a lot as I will get some good ones after Xmas. I know that ain't going to be A1 being cheap but mine are bad.
TomsFocus
Why not get better ones now instead of buying 2 sets? I always use Bosch Aerotwins tbh, they end up fairly cheap in ECP sales and outlast my cars usually lol!
Stoney871
I use Michelin stealth, very good judder free wipe and available from eBay and Asda.
jace1969
I end up turning them on when I have a frozen screen lol. How much are a good set but not £25 area.
TomsFocus
Lol, that's not good. Though made me think about wipers on mine, will have to remember not to leave them on when I start the car on an icy morning lol. Pair of good wipers are usually about £15, but I'd forgotten you'll have the newer style clips on a mk7, they'll be quite a bit more unfortunately. Goodkat
I will be going for either the Bosch Aerotwins or the Ford's own, both available from amazon for not silly money. I have bought cheap blades before and they haven't lasted long, or not fitted properly. I think spending a little more will be worth it, considering they are what enables you to see in appalling weather!
jace1969
I'm popping upto ford Monday so see what price they do them for as well As pricing up the wheel nuts Bet you won't get much change from £

troy45
Asda are doing the Michelin Stealth's at £8.00 each. Has that offer been running long? I was looking at the Stealth wipers in my local Asda last night and they were around £12-£16 for drivers and passenger side, pretty much the same price as amazon. Also read about the passenger side wiper on some cars can clash with the trim around the edge of the screen as the end of the blade carrier overhangs the end of the blade by a short amount. Going to check mine to see how close it gets with the standard wipers, if it's tight then one size down should be ok.
Philf1
Not worth scrimping on wipers especially at this time of year. Have you tried cleaning the actual blade? Get some vinegar on a piece of kitchen roll and wipe the blades a few times that should help

BOF
I use Michelin stealth, very good judder free wipe and available from ebay and Asda. I've currently got the Stealths on mine, and they are good blades. Bought when they were at half price from Asda, and when that offer is on, they're a bargain. Last time I looked though, there was no sign of Michelin blades there (not the world's biggest Asda! It may be different in a larger one.), but they did have the Lucas/Clear Screen (?) blades at half price, and, on that offer, they were about £4 each blade. These aren't bad blades at all (perhaps slightly worse than the Michelins and not such a clever design, whatever that means to you), and fully meet or exceed your initial requirements. I used a pair of these for 12 months and didn't have a complaint, and only really replaced them once the Michelin Stealths were on half price offer. (At that price, I nearly bought a spare pair, while I was there, and I'm not expecting to need wipers until next summer, or maybe even later)

BOF
Those Asda offers tend to run about 2 - 4 weeks, so once you've found out that something is on offer, you have to pretty decisive, because you don't really know when it started. While we're on the subject, I note that Asda have their own-brand Ford spec oil (the revised version - red packaging - to the -D spec as well as -C) on sale for ~£15, down from the usual £22 - 24. I don't think that's as big a bargain as the Clear View wipers, but still cheap.
jace1969
Your lucky lol,we live by a big asda inside a shopping complex. Not 1 wiper blade on the shelf, tried another one and nothing in there.
