Roof Lining Cleaner.

Featured Replies

I've noticed that mainly on my side the roof lining looks like it's had coke splattered all over it tiny spots, does or has anyone cleaned there roof lining?

Or car upholstery cleaner. The Carplan stuff is good - got what I suspect was oil out my headlining and diesel stains off of my drivers seat.

Using a small brush is also good. You can pick up a car upholstery brush is Asda for something like £1.50. Easy to grip, and the bristles are angled so you can get a good deep scrub or gentle swish going.

Cheers guys, I'll give them a go.

The brush is fantastic when used in conjunction with a hoover on the carpets too

Try Vanish Powerfoam carpet Cleaner.

I removed the headlining from the Toyota Levin BZR as i was stripping the car at the time,

I used two cans of vanish power foam waxing in to the carpet then stood it up in the shower and hosed it down,

I then got four chairs in the kitchen to suspend the headlining while i blew it dry with hairdryer,

I understand you may not want to remove the headlining,

So perhaps a spray bottle with water and the vanish foam,

Put bags over the seats to protect the interior

And definitely wear a face shield or safety glasses,

Its gonna run down your arms and drip off your elbows aswell

Take care when working over head with caustic solutions such as vanish
