Central Locking Button Inside The Car Not Included?

this is a dumb question but im a new driver and this is my 1st car 2010 ford focus zetec 1.6 3dr

is it normal not to have the central locking button inside the car? heres a picture. mine doesn't have that button

If you mean the rocker switch in front of the door handle, that's not a central locking button it's for disabling the interior scanning for the alarm. For things like if you've left car locked with a dog still in it etc. Don't think all models get the perimeter typealarms.

To operate the central locking you can push in the small lever above the main door opening handle.

If your still not sure sit in the car, lock the car with the remote and you will see the button we mean. Just push that on when the cars unlocked and jobs a good un :-)
